The Gefell TM 190.2 desktop microphone is a compact version of Gefell’s studio condenser microphone series.
It is particularly suitable for commentators, translators and applications in radio and television. It is a classic condenser microphone for 48 V phantom power, the high-grade speech intelligibility just under ensures unfavorable acoustic conditions. The appealing design makes it ideal for use on conference tables. The TM 190.2 consists of the Desktop Microphone Capsule TMK 190 K, the metal foot MF 90 and the preamplifier BMV 190. The special cardioid capsule suppresses unwanted acoustic noise level in the vicinity. The base plate of the metal foot MF 90 provides a good non-slip base, microphone holder an optimal angle adjustment for the microphone.
The capsule casing is very small and therefore inconspicuous in television broadcasts. The microphone has a balanced frequency response and guarantees a neutral sound. Due to the low output impedance XLR cable extensions are possible.
The microphone capsule is connected by replaceable LEMO connectors. Commissioning The table microphone capsules are firmly screwed onto the 3/8″ thread of the TMV 100. After fitting the capsule, the cable connection to TMV 100 produce and make the connection of the table microphone to the 48 V phantom power via the XLR connectors. If necessary, the use of the W 19 windshield is recommended.
